الملخص:
استهدفت الدراسة الكشف عن طبيعة العلاقة ألارتباطيه بين الخجل وتقدير الذات والوحدة النفسية والتعرف على درجة انتشاره، وكذلك إيجاد الفروق وفق الجنس والتخصص والسنة الدراسة والكلية والتحصيل الدراسي والسكن والمستوى التعليمي للأب وألام والمستوى الاقتصادي للأسرة والمعاملة الو الدية والتنبؤ بالخجل من خلال تقدير الذات والوحدة النفسية والكشف عن اثر التفاعل وفق المتغيرات المذكورة.
وبلغ حجم العينة(2453) طالبا وطالبة موزعين على مجموعتين الأولى وتضم طلبة المستوى الأول وعددهم (6769 وأما المستوى الرابع فقد بلغ عددهم (5289 من جامعة دمشق بينما المجموعة الثانية وتضم طلبة جامعة عدن،وقد بلغ عدد الطلبة في المستوى الأول(663)، وأما المستوى الرابع فقد بلغ عددهم (586) طالبا وطالبة.
وقد استخدمت الباحثة مقياسي الخجل وتقدير الذات من إعدادها، بينما اعتمدت الثالث مقياس الوحدة النفسية من إعداد راسل وآخرون تعريب وتقنيين خضر الشناوي(1988)
وأسفرت النتائج عن الأتي:
- توجد علاقة ارتباطيه سالبة بين الخجل وتقدير الذات لدى طلبة جامعتي دمشق وعدن
- توجد علاقة ارتباطيه موجبة بين الخجل والوحدة النفسية لدى طلبة جامعتي دمشق وعدن
- توجد علاقة ارتباطيه سالبة بين تقدير الذات والوحدة\ة النفسية لدى طلبة جامعتي دمشق وعدن
- تتباين مستويات انتشار الخجل والوحدة النفسية بين طلبة جامعتي دمشق وعدن
- توجد فروق في الخجل والوحدة النفسية لصالح طلبة جامعة دمشق بينما في تقدير الذات لصالح طلبة جامعة عدن.

Abstract:
The current research aims at recognizing the nature of the correlative relationship among shyness, self esteem and loneliness and finding-prevalence degree of them and also discovering the difference according to sex , major , academic year , college , academic achievement , place of residence ,parents academic and economical level , parental treatment style , and predicting shyness through self-esteem and loneliness as well as uncovering the influence of reaction according to the demographic change mentioned earlier .
The sample size was (2456) male and female students divided into two groups : the first group includes the first year students (n=676) whereas the fourth level includes students (n=528) from Damascus university . the second group includes the students of Aden university ; the first level (n=663) and the fourth level (n=586).
The researcher used shyness and self-esteem scales she prepared . while she used the scale of loneliness prepared by Russell et al , interpreted and translated by Khoudr and AL Shinawi ( (1988).
Her research concluded the following :
- There is a negative correlative relation between Damascus and Aden universities students in shyness and self-esteem .
- There is a positive correlative relation between Damascus and Aden universities students in shyness and loneliness.
- there is a negative correlative relation between Damascus and Aden universities students in self-esteem and loneliness .
- The prevalence levels of shyness , self – esteem and loneliness vary between Damascus and Aden universities students .
- There are differences in shyness and loneliness in favor of the students of Damascus university while in self-esteem , it is in favor of the students of Aden university .
